John 12:3

  1. I did not know what 'nard' was, so had to look it up. "nard is a class of aromatic amber-colored essential oil derived from flowering plants, the identification of which is variable. The oil has, since ancient times, been used as a perfume, as a medicine and in religious contexts, across a wide territory from India to Europe. Mary loved her Lord.

  8. Pottery...my weakness...the picture beautifully illustrates the Scripture. It helps me to visualize the jar that was broken that the contents might be spilled out on the feet of our precious Saviour.
